Dr. Bruce Freeman was appointed as a DC Institute Faculty member in 2017. He is an international lecturer on the topics of clinical orthodontics, virtual surgical planning and facial pain disorders. He maintains a private orthodontic practice in Toronto with an emphasis on pre-prosthetic and surgical care. Dr. Freeman is an Associate in Dentistry at the University of Toronto and co-directs the Facial Pain Unit in the Department of Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, where he also participates in research endeavors.
Dr. Freeman is an honours graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. He subsequently completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York, United States. Dr. Freeman completed his orthodontic residency, followed by a master’s degree in the field of facial pain and temporomandibular disorders, at the University of Toronto.
DC Institute is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.
