DC Institute was pleased to host 3 courses in Calgary this weekend in partnership with 3M.
The weekend began with a hands-on session on The Bioclear Method with Dr. Richard Jahn at Le Germain Hotel. This course provided dentists with an understanding of how direct composite restorations can be efficiently placed to offer function, esthetics, and longevity that will address problems and shortcomings of other methods of direct placement. During the hands-on portion, participants had the opportunity to update their composite placement techniques using the Bioclear method and matrix system.
Later on Friday evening, Dr. Effrat Habsha delivered a dinner lecture on Digital Dentistry in Contemporary Prosthodontics at the Deane House restaurant in their quiet and intimate private dining space. Participants enjoyed a fine dining experience while learning about using digital technology in their practice and the new, emerging technologies that are being used by practitioners.
On Saturday, DC Institute welcomed participants back to Le Germain Hotel for a full-day hands-on session on Porcelain Veneers with Dr. Effrat Habsha. This extremely popular session gave dentists the chance to learn about prosthodontic treatment planning as well as indications and contraindications for porcelain veneers. During the hands-on portion, participants had the opportunity to prepare, impress and temporize the maxillary anteriors on a typodont.
